In addition to purchasing items for our sub-assemblies, ISC also maintains a purchasing department to service our customer’s specific material needs. Our purchasing department operates using a complex and highly capable ERP system, currently managing over 600 vendors and 6000 part numbers. ISC not only buys items for domestic OEM customers, but also from numerous U.S. vendors for export to our European and South American customers. ISC also purchases wholegoods and attachments for OEM equipment which we then export to dealers around the world. This has been a tremendous growth area for ISC, where our business with one South American customer has doubled to over 8 million dollars in sales for 2003. Additionally we have been asked to increase our responsibilities by managing an additional 150 suppliers and 1550 part numbers that can no longer be maintained effectively by our customer. Our purchasing department is continually looking for cost savings on all our purchased items. This function improves our ability to compete in the marketplace and is one of the primary reasons why ISC has been able to maintain so many assembly projects for such a long period of time.
